March 25 is Annunciation Day, the day on which we remember Jesus' conception at the angel's visit to Mary. It is a perfect day for Christians to tell our world that Jesus' humanity informs us of our humanity. The Bismarck Mandan Chapter of Lutherans for Life will prepare, for any church that requests it, a series of four placards for members to hold (or for a church to plant or to post, weather permitting) as a curbside witness. 

The placards read:

#1: At _____________ Lutheran Church, we believe...

#2: That God became a man in Jesus Christ....

#3: That His humanity began at his conception, and...

#4: That your humanity began at your conception.

Because the placards are corrugated cardboard, they are best used as a hand-held message, though they could also be adapted to be planted or posted as a streetside display.
